Juventus are already shaping their transfer plans for the upcoming windows, and one familiar name has emerged as a potential solution for their midfield.
According to Calciomercato, Marcelo Brozović, who left European football two seasons ago to join Al Nassr, has impressed Juventus scouts despite playing in the Saudi Pro League. The 33-year-old Croatian midfielder remains highly rated in Italy, where many believe he can still perform at a top level for several more seasons.
Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti is determined to strengthen the central areas of the pitch, and Brozović is viewed as a profile capable of bringing control, balance and experience to the Bianconeri midfield.
Brozović’s contract with Al Nassr expires next summer, but the major stumbling block is his enormous salary. The former Inter star earns around €25 million per year in Saudi Arabia — a figure Juventus cannot match under their current wage structure.
The key question is whether Brozović would be willing to sacrifice a significant portion of his earnings for a return to Serie A, where he previously established himself as one of the league’s most reliable midfielders.
