Juventus confirmed Weston McKennie has signed a new contract until 2030, ending transfer speculation and securing one of their most reliable midfielders.

Juventus have made their position clear. Weston McKennie is staying in Turin.

The Italian giants confirmed today that the 27-year-old United States international has signed a new contract until June 2030. His previous deal was due to expire at the end of the current season, which fueled fresh transfer speculation.

Instead of leaving, McKennie committed his future to the club where he has played since 2020, when he arrived from Schalke.

Under coach Luciano Spalletti, McKennie plays an important role. He has already made 38 appearances this season, offering energy, tactical discipline, and experience in midfield.

Across all competitions, he has now reached 220 appearances for Juventus, with 26 goals and 26 assists. He won the Coppa Italia twice, in the 2020/21 and 2023/24 seasons, though the Serie A title still eludes him.

Juventus face pressure in the league. They have won only one of their last five matches and sit sixth in the table. With 11 rounds remaining, they trail fourth place by four points. Roma currently occupies the final Champions League spot, while Como sits between Roma and Juventus.

On the international stage, McKennie remains a regular for the United States national team. This summer, he will represent his country at the World Cup on home soil.
