Díaz dazzles on World Cup debut
Luis Díaz could hardly have asked for a better start to his first World Cup appearance.
The Colombian star inspired a 3-1 victory over Uzbekistan with a goal and an assist.
He first created Colombia's opening goal with a brilliant pass for Daniel Muñoz, before finding the net himself in the 65th minute to restore his team's lead.
Throughout the match, Díaz was Colombia's most dangerous attacking player and fully deserved his Player of the Match recognition.
Olise unlocks Senegal
Michael Olise was the first member of Bayern's attacking trio to shine at the tournament.
The France playmaker played a decisive role in his country's 3-1 victory over Senegal.
Olise recorded an assist, created several dangerous opportunities and consistently caused problems for the Senegal defense.
His creativity proved vital as France eventually pulled away in the second half, earning him the Player of the Match award.
Bayern quality on display
The performances of Kane, Olise and Díaz underline why Bayern possessed one of Europe's most feared attacks last season.
Now they are carrying that form onto football's biggest stage.
