Paris Saint-Germain has resolved a loan quota issue, allowing French forward Kolo Muani to finalize his move to Juventus for the rest of the season.
Kolo Muani is now free to complete his move to Juventus, after Paris Saint-Germain resolved a regulatory issue that had delayed the French forward’s loan transfer.
Muani arrived in Turin last week to finalize his deal with the Italian giants, where he will play on loan until the end of the season. However, the move was put on hold due to the French league’s rule limiting clubs to a maximum of six outgoing loans per season.
PSG had already reached their limit, which meant that for Muani's transfer to proceed, one of their loaned players had to return early, be permanently transferred, or have their contract terminated. The Parisians opted for the latter solution by terminating the contract of defender Juan Bernat, who was on loan at Villarreal.
With this final hurdle cleared, Kolo Muani is now set to join Juventus and bolster their attacking options for the remainder of the campaign.
