Kosovo's national football team, led by new coach Frank Foda, is aiming to recruit Arijon Ibrahimović from Bayern Munich and Elvis Rexhbecaj from Augsburg, both with connections to the region.
The Football Federation of Kosovo has brought in new coach, Austrian football legend Frank Foda, and is now attempting to attract two talented players to represent their national team in the future.
The targets are Arijon Ibrahimović, an offensive midfielder from Bayern Munich currently on loan at Italian Frosinone, and Elvis Rexhbecaj (26), a midfielder from German Augsburg.
Arijon Ibrahimović (18), born in Nuremberg before being sent to gain experience in Serie A, made his debut for Bayern. He has made 14 appearances for Frosinone, scoring two goals with one assist.
Elvis Rexhbecaj, born 26 years ago in Prizren, plays as a defensive midfielder. This season, he has made 22 appearances for Augsburg and scored two goals.
Arijon Ibrahimović's parents are from Prizren.
