AC Milan and Inter are monitoring Partizan’s Andrej Kostić and Red Star’s Vasilije Kostov, with potential summer transfers valued around €40 million combined.

Two of the brightest prospects from Serbia’s “Eternal Derby” could soon find themselves sharing the spotlight in Milan, as AC Milan and Inter monitor potential summer moves for Andrej Kostić and Vasilije Kostov.

Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Milan have not abandoned their interest in Kostić, the 19-year-old striker from Partizan. His release clause stands at €20 million, a figure the seven-time European champions were unwilling to meet during the winter transfer window.

Milan persist with Kostić pursuit

Kostić has scored 10 goals in 31 appearances this season, adding one assist. Milan’s recruitment team reportedly remain attentive to his development, hoping that further performances could justify the investment Partizan demand.

The forward represents a long-term project rather than an immediate solution, but his physical profile and finishing ability have placed him firmly on Milan’s radar.

Inter join race for Kostov

Across the city, Inter have intensified their interest in 17-year-old attacking midfielder Kostov, one of Crvena zvezda’s most exciting academy products.

Kostov reignited transfer speculation with a goal and an assist in the 178th Eternal Derby, prompting renewed attention from scouts. His valuation mirrors that of Kostić, with Red Star expected to seek at least €20 million — potentially more, given his reputation as a standout talent of his generation.

The Serbia international youth player has already recorded 11 goals and six assists in 32 matches this season, exceptional numbers for a teenager competing at senior level.

Title race adds urgency

In the domestic SuperLiga title race, Red Star hold a four-point advantage over Partizan following a commanding 3–0 derby victory. Six rounds remain in the regular season before the play-off phase begins.

Should both transfers materialise, the San Siro could soon host two emerging stars forged in one of European football’s fiercest rivalries. For now, their immediate focus remains on silverware at home — but the summer window may bring a decisive chapter in their careers.
