Kyle Walker may be living in a luxurious Italian hotel, but his lifestyle has taken a surprising turn since joining AC Milan—and it all revolves around a new obsession.
The Manchester City defender, currently on loan at AC Milan, has reportedly been embracing a quieter routine while staying in a £2,000-a-night suite at a five-star hotel. However, according to reports from the Daily Mail, Walker's newfound passion isn’t for nightlife—it’s for olives.
Walker’s unexpected habit
Hotel staff have noticed that Walker frequently visits the bar, but not for alcohol. Instead, he indulges in a plate of olives before heading to bed.
"When I think of Walker, I think of olives. He just likes to eat olives. He often comes to the bar. He doesn’t drink beer or anything like that. He’s only in the company of friends he hangs out with. I don’t know what happens behind his hotel room door, but by all accounts, he behaves well," said a hotel staff member.
Personal turmoil follows Walker to Italy
Walker is reportedly attempting to distance himself from his marital problems, which have dominated headlines in recent months. His wife, Annie Kilner, has remained in the UK despite initially planning to join him in Milan with their four children. Their relationship has been strained due to Walker's past affairs, including his involvement with Lauryn Goodman, with whom he fathered two children.
Goodman has also allegedly moved to Italy, further complicating the situation, leading Kilner to abandon her plans to reunite with her husband.
A more reserved lifestyle in Milan
Despite his personal turmoil, Walker appears to be keeping a low profile in Milan. Following AC Milan’s recent victory over Roma, he reportedly skipped the celebrations and headed straight back to his hotel.
While his life off the pitch remains complicated, his new love for olives has become an unexpected talking point among those who cross paths with him in Italy.
