Annie Kilner is reportedly being lined up for a reality series documenting her move to Milan, while also considering a potential appearance on I'm A Celebrity.
Annie Kilner, the wife of Kyle Walker, is reportedly in talks for a *fly-on-the-wall* reality show that would showcase her new life in Milan following her husband's move to Serie A. The potential project comes as ITV bosses look to capitalize on the public interest surrounding the footballer’s family relocation.
Walker, who recently joined an Italian club on loan from Manchester City, is currently staying in a £2,200-a-night hotel as he sorts out permanent housing. Meanwhile, Kilner and their four children remain in the UK, though a full family move to Milan is expected in the near future.
According to a source speaking to Heat, ITV executives see a major opportunity in capturing Kilner's transition to a new city. “Annie would attract global interest, and she’d be TV gold. She’s been through so much with her marriage and has kept a dignified silence so far. This could be a great chance to show everyone the real her and tell her side of the story.”
The reality show wouldn’t be Kilner’s only potential television appearance. She is also reportedly considering a spot on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, inspired by Coleen Rooney’s recent success in the entertainment world.
Interestingly, Walker himself is said to be supportive of the idea, despite the likelihood that their relationship struggles would be discussed on air. “Kyle knows that if she were to do a TV show, she’d have to speak about their relationship, and he’s quite happy for her to. He feels dreadful about what he’s put her through and wishes he could turn the clock back, so all he can do now is support her.”
With interest in high-profile football WAGs on the rise, Kilner’s potential entry into the world of reality TV could generate significant attention, offering a behind-the-scenes look at life off the pitch in Milan.
