Barcelona placed four players in La Liga’s team of the season after winning the title, while Real Madrid contributed three stars to the lineup.

Barcelona have been rewarded for their championship-winning campaign after placing four players in the official La Liga team of the season.

The Catalan giants secured the Spanish title this year and now dominate the league’s ideal eleven for the 2025/26 season.

Real Madrid contributed three players to the lineup, while representatives from Mallorca, Espanyol, Villarreal, and Atletico Madrid also earned places.

The selected team includes six Spanish players and five internationals.

The foreign representatives come from Uruguay, France, and Kosovo.

The official La Liga team of the season is:

Goalkeeper:
Joan Garcia (Barcelona, Spain)

Defenders:
Carlos Romero (Espanyol, Spain)
Eric Garcia (Barcelona, Spain)
Mourino (Villarreal, Uruguay)
Marcos Llorente (Atletico Madrid, Spain)

Midfielders:
Aurelien Tchouameni (Real Madrid, France)
Pedri (Barcelona, Spain)
Federico Valverde (Real Madrid, Uruguay)

Forwards:
Lamine Yamal (Barcelona, Spain)
Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid, France)
Vedat Muriqi (Mallorca, Kosovo)

Kylian Mbappe currently leads the race for the Pichichi Trophy with 24 league goals.

Vedat Muriqi follows with 22 goals, while Ante Budimir sits third with 17.

In the assist rankings, teenage sensation Lamine Yamal leads the league with 11 assists after 35 rounds.

Fermin Lopez, Arda Guler, and Luis Milla are tied behind him with nine assists each.

Among goalkeepers, Barcelona’s Joan Garcia has recorded the most clean sheets this season with 15.

Thibaut Courtois and David Soria share second place with 11 clean sheets.

Jan Oblak currently sits fourth with 10 shutouts for Atletico Madrid.

The selection once again highlights Barcelona's successful rebuilding project under Hansi Flick, while Real Madrid's attacking stars still delivered impressive individual performances despite a disappointing trophyless season.
