The meteoric rise of teenage winger Lamine Yamal continues at full speed!
The Barcelona player celebrated his 17th birthday during the European Championship in Germany, finished his high school exams, contributed a goal and four assists, and helped Spain secure their fourth European Championship title – and he's only at the beginning of his career!
After the Euro 2024 final, Lamine Yamal was deservedly named the tournament's best young player.
In tonight's match against England, he provided another assist and created several more opportunities for his teammates that went unconverted. He also had a great chance himself in the 82nd minute but could have struck better. However, this did not affect the outcome.
Given that he is only 17 years old, he undoubtedly has over a decade of top-level career ahead of him!
