Stuttgart has submitted a loan offer for Milan's Strahinja Pavlović, but the Rossoneri prefer a permanent transfer for the Serbian defender.

Strahinja Pavlović may not have fully capitalized on his opportunities at AC Milan, but the Serbian defender now has a chance to prove himself in a top European league. According to reports from multiple football market specialists, Stuttgart has submitted a loan offer to the Rossoneri, looking to strengthen their defensive line.

A move to the Bundesliga appears to be an attractive option for Pavlović, as it would provide him with a fresh opportunity to showcase his potential and possibly earn another shot at Milan in the future. However, the Serie A giants reportedly prefer a permanent transfer to capitalize financially.

As the transfer window nears its end, more offers could emerge, with Leicester City also expressing interest in signing a center-back. The Premier League side has been linked with multiple defensive targets, including Nasser Điga, raising the possibility of a bidding war for Pavlović.

Earlier in the transfer window, Fenerbahçe showed significant interest, but Pavlović was reportedly not keen on moving to Turkey, as he remains focused on securing a spot in one of Europe’s top leagues.

Pavlović recently returned to Milan's starting lineup after a 50-day absence, featuring in the Coppa Italia clash against Sassuolo. He impressed during Milan's 1-0 Champions League victory over Girona, bringing the team closer to securing a place among the top eight in the group stage. Despite his solid performances, it seems unlikely that he will secure a long-term future under coach Sérgio Conceição.

It remains to be seen whether Pavlović will join Stuttgart, as the German club may need to improve their offer to satisfy Milan's demands. With his aggressive playing style and physicality, a move to the Premier League could also be a logical step, following in the footsteps of his national team colleagues.
