RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško scored his 19th goal of the season, surpassing last year’s tally and now trails only Jude Bellingham among Europe’s top-scoring U21 players.
Benjamin Šeško continues to rise among Europe’s most exciting young talents. The RB Leipzig forward netted again today, bringing his tally for the current season to 19 goals in all competitions, surpassing his 18-goal mark from last season.
When considering league goals from both this and last season combined, Šeško has reached an impressive total of 25 goals—a figure that places him among the very top of all U21 players in Europe. In fact, only one player has scored more in that span: Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid, who leads Šeško by just two goals.

While Bellingham has been making headlines in Spain with his standout season at Madrid, Šeško has quietly built a remarkable record in Germany. His consistent scoring output is increasingly turning heads, and as the summer approaches, his name is expected to be at the center of transfer speculation.
The 20-year-old Slovenian has long been linked with a move to the English Premier League, with multiple top clubs said to be monitoring his progress. His blend of size, speed, and clinical finishing makes him one of the most sought-after young forwards on the market.
With this latest goal, Šeško has not only cemented his status as Leipzig’s breakout star, but also positioned himself as a direct challenger to Bellingham’s crown as the most prolific U21 player in Europe.
