Real Madrid have opened the season with three straight victories and ten goals under Jose Mourinho, with Malaga the latest victims in a dominant 4-0 win.

Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid are beginning to look increasingly dangerous. Three La Liga matches have produced three victories and ten goals, with Málaga swept aside 4-0 in another dominant performance from the Spanish giants.
The match was effectively over by half-time, with Real already leading 3-0. Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé were among the scorers, while Alfonso Herrera contributed an own goal. Arda Güler completed the rout late in the second half.
Mourinho will also have been encouraged by Trent Alexander-Arnold, who registered an assist. Expectations are high for the Englishman this season after a disappointing previous campaign, and his early performances suggest he could play a much more influential role.
Bellingham and Güler compete for No.10 role
Eduardo Camavinga started alongside captain Federico Valverde in midfield, while Silva entered later from the bench. Mourinho also changed his defensive combination, leaving Ibrahima Konaté among the substitutes and starting Dean Huijsen and Antonio Rüdiger in central defence.
Brahim Díaz was included from the first minute before making way for new signing Yan Diomande. Güler entered in the 87th minute for Bellingham and needed only three minutes to find the net.
That competition could become particularly interesting as the season develops. Mourinho reportedly views both Bellingham and Güler as natural No.10s and intends to divide minutes between them depending on the opposition.
Real Madrid now travel to Real Betis in La Liga before attention turns to Europe. Inter will visit the Santiago Bernabéu in the Champions League, providing Mourinho's rapidly improving team with their first major European examination.
For now, however, the numbers speak for themselves: three matches, three victories, ten goals scored – and Mourinho's second Real Madrid era is gathering momentum quickly.
