Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly scouting Feyenoord winger Igor Paixão, with several top European clubs showing interest in the Brazilian sensation.
Igor Paixão, Feyenoord's dynamic Brazilian attacker, has reportedly attracted attention from Liverpool and Arsenal, as revealed by CaughtOffside via VoetbalPrimeur. The 24-year-old has impressed scouts at both clubs with his performances this season, registering five goals and 13 assists in all competitions.
The competition for Paixão’s signature appears fierce, with Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, West Ham United, and AS Roma also linked to the player. Feyenoord is believed to value the diminutive winger at €30–35 million, but with his contract running until 2029, the Dutch champions hold a strong negotiating position.
While no formal offers or negotiations have been initiated, Arsenal reportedly views Paixão as a potential option to bolster their attacking depth, particularly in light of Bukayo Saka’s injury concerns. For Liverpool, the Brazilian could be considered a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, as they prepare for possible future transitions in their forward line.
Paixão joined Feyenoord in 2022 from Coritiba, brought in by manager Arne Slot, who will be well aware of his star’s growing reputation. As the January transfer window approaches, the interest in Paixão is expected to intensify.
