Liverpool are Premier League champions once again, and the city is preparing for a huge parade on May 26 to celebrate their 20th English league title.

Liverpool have reclaimed the Premier League title in style, and now the city is preparing for another massive celebration with a trophy parade set for Monday, May 26.

Arne Slot’s team secured the crown with a dominant 5-1 win over Tottenham on Sunday, sealing their 20th English league title and second Premier League triumph in five years.

After missing out on a parade for their 2020 title due to Covid-19 restrictions, Liverpool are determined to make this celebration unforgettable. Parades were previously held in 2019 after the Champions League victory and in 2022 following a domestic cup double.

Mohamed Salah admitted earlier this season that the thought of a title parade served as extra motivation: "I just want to win the Premier League with the city and the fans. To experience that parade will be incredible," he said.

When is Liverpool’s trophy parade?
The parade will take place on Monday, May 26, a bank holiday in the UK. While the exact start time hasn’t been confirmed, Liverpool’s last parade in 2022 began at 4pm — a similar schedule is likely.

What is the expected route?
Though final details are yet to be officially released, previous parades in 2019 and 2022 started at Allerton Maze in south Liverpool. From there, the parade proceeded along Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street, and The Strand, before concluding at Blundell Street.

Jürgen Klopp’s farewell:
Former manager Jürgen Klopp, who led Liverpool to the 2020 Premier League title, is expected to join the celebrations — though not on the team bus. Klopp is attending the LFC Foundation's annual gala dinner on May 23 and will be at Anfield for the final game of the season against Crystal Palace.

"I’ll be there where the people are. That’s the idea," Klopp said in March. "I didn’t want to go earlier because I didn’t want to jinx it!"

With the title secured, Liverpool fans can now look forward to what promises to be one of the city's most unforgettable celebrations.
