Luis Enrique believes PSG will need to score at least three goals in Munich, warning Bayern will be stronger at home despite PSG’s narrow 5-4 advantage.
Luis Enrique did not leave Paris with a sense of comfort.
Despite Paris Saint-Germain securing a 5-4 win over Bayern Munich, the Spanish coach expects an even tougher challenge in the return leg at the Allianz Arena.
His message after the match was clear. Scoring once will not be enough.
"After the final whistle, I asked my staff how many goals we will need in Munich. Everyone said at least three. I think they are right," said Enrique.
The PSG coach expects Bayern to raise their level at home and push even harder from the start.
"They will be stronger in Munich. But we are going there to win," he added.
Enrique also gave an honest assessment of the first leg. While PSG took the win, he admitted the match could have gone in any direction.
"We deserved to win, but we could also have drawn or even lost," he said.
The statement reflects the nature of the game. Open, unpredictable, and driven by attacking football on both sides.
With one goal separating the teams, the second leg now carries full uncertainty. If the first match set the tone, Munich could deliver another high-scoring night.
The only guarantee is tension. The rest will be decided on the pitch.
