Montenegrin footballer Milutin Osmajić faces potential punishment after allegedly biting an opponent during a Championship match between Preston and Blackburn.

In a disturbing incident reminiscent of Luis Suarez’s infamous bite on Giorgio Chiellini, Milutin Osmajić, a Montenegrin footballer playing for Preston North End, allegedly bit Blackburn's Owen Beck during their Championship match on Sunday.

The incident occurred during a tussle between the two players, where Osmajić reportedly bit Beck on the neck. Despite clear bite marks on Beck's skin, the referee did not see the incident, allowing Osmajić to remain on the field. Beck, however, was sent off for a separate offense.

Following the match, Blackburn's coach, John Eustace, expressed his outrage, stating: "You can see the bite marks on his neck. It’s a serious incident, and we’re all angry about it." The Football Association is now expected to review the footage and take disciplinary action.

Osmajić, 25, joined Preston last year from Cádiz and has been an important figure for the club. However, this incident could lead to a lengthy suspension and a substantial fine.
