Real Madrid star Luka Modrić has injected €22.16 million into his family-owned real estate company, Modrić Family SL, further expanding his business empire.
Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modrić has made another major investment in his family business, Modrić Family SL, increasing its capital by €22.16 million, according to Spain’s Official Gazette of the Commercial Registry (BORME).
Modrić is the sole owner of the company, while his wife, Vanja Modrić, serves as its legal representative. With this latest capital injection, the company's total capital now stands at €38.6 million, following an earlier €6.25 million increase in April 2024.
At the end of 2023, the company reported total assets worth €18.5 million, marking a 26.15% increase from the €14.67 million recorded the previous year.
Financial performance
Despite its growing assets, the company’s net profit declined in 2023, dropping to €52,172, a 15.5% decrease from €61,768 in 2022, as reported by the business portal El Debate.
The firm also recorded a significant drop in revenue, generating €18,270 in 2023, which is 38% less than the €29,480 earned in 2022.
Meanwhile, tax payments surged, with the company paying €17,390 in corporate taxes in 2023, nearly five times more than the €3,368 paid in 2022.
