Manchester City’s 2025/26 kit launch has sparked speculation over Jack Grealish’s future, as he features in promo images despite transfer rumours linking him with a summer exit.
Manchester City have revealed their striking new 2025/26 home kit, which features a bold white sash across the traditional sky blue—an homage to retro City designs of the 1970s. The kit will debut at this summer’s Club World Cup in the United States.
Designed by Puma, the jersey is a blend of tradition and innovation. The white sash, previously seen on historic away shirts, now makes its first appearance on a City home kit. The launch is part of Puma’s effort to bridge generations of fans with a “futuristic” take on classic elements.
Among the players modelling the kit is Jack Grealish, whose presence in the campaign has caught the attention of fans amid growing speculation over his future. Grealish appears in the official promo photos alongside Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, and Mateo Kovacic, despite reports linking him to potential moves to Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Napoli.
While Grealish was not featured in the promotional video—starring John Thompson and cameos from club legends like Micah Richards, Joleon Lescott, and Mike Summerbee—his involvement in the kit imagery has fans reading into the message. Many interpret it as a sign the England international could be staying put under Pep Guardiola.
The promo video, filmed at the Clayton Official Supporters Club near the Etihad Stadium, featured stars like Ederson, Manuel Akanji, Oscar Bobb, and Foden performing in a quirky talent show hosted by Thompson.
Puma’s chief Marco Mueller said: “We’re so excited to be featuring the iconic sash, made famous from away days of old, on the home kit for the first time. With this and all our kits for the upcoming season, we’re pushing the boundaries of design and creativity.”
The new kit is now available at the official City store, priced at £85 for the standard version and £130 for the authentic match-worn edition.
