Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has sparked concern among supporters after sharing a video of himself performing acrobatic tricks on a trampoline during his summer break.

The 33 year old center back enjoyed an impressive campaign under manager Michael Carrick, helping United finish third in the Premier League and secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League.

Despite rediscovering his best form at club level, Maguire was left out of Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Now enjoying some time off before the new season, Maguire posted a video on social media showing himself bouncing on a trampoline wearing only a pair of shorts.

The experienced defender attempted a front flip, failing on his first effort before landing the second attempt successfully.

While Maguire appeared to be enjoying himself, many Manchester United fans reacted with anxiety rather than amusement because of the club's growing injury problems in central defense.

Matthijs de Ligt remains sidelined and is not expected to return until September, while Lisandro Martinez suffered an injury during Argentina's World Cup final defeat to Spain.

Young defender Leny Yoro is another option in central defense, but he has mainly been used at right back during United's pre season preparations.

Supporters quickly flooded social media with worried reactions.

"Mate, we need you fit. Don't be taking these big risks," one fan wrote.

Another commented: "The only fit senior center back is doing flips on the trampoline."

A third supporter added: "It's so hard to take him seriously when he's like this."

Another fan posted: "My man, you need to calm down. We don't have enough center backs to be doing that."

Despite the online concern, Maguire appears fully fit and is expected to continue building his fitness during Manchester United's remaining pre-season schedule.

The Red Devils face Atletico Madrid before taking on Paris Saint-Germain, Leeds United and AC Milan ahead of the new campaign.

Manchester United will begin their Premier League season on August 22 with an away match against newly promoted Hull City.
