Marko Arnautović is struggling to make an impact at Inter this season, with limited playing time and no goals yet, compounded by recent illness ahead of the Champions League match.
Marko Arnautović is having a tough start to the season with Inter Milan. The Austrian striker has yet to score a goal and has seen very little action on the field. Ahead of the Champions League clash with Manchester City, it has already been confirmed that Simone Inzaghi will not be able to count on Arnautović, as he has fallen ill and will miss the match.
This season, Arnautović has played less than 40 minutes across three Serie A matches, knowing he is not the first-choice striker for Inter. Last season, he managed to score five goals in the Italian league, but things are looking more difficult this year.
His disappointment started earlier in Ljubljana, where Austria faced Slovenia in the Nations League. Arnautović struggled in that match, as the Slovenian defense successfully neutralized him, leading to a frustrating performance.
