Brazilian forward Mateus Saldanha has officially left Partizan to join Ferencváros, expressing his deep emotions and reflecting on his time in Belgrade.
Mateus Saldanha, the Brazilian striker, has said his goodbyes to Partizan as he officially becomes a player for Hungarian side Ferencváros. Saldanja took the time to reflect on his experience in Belgrade and shared his heartfelt sentiments.
"I've made a few friendships, and I am very grateful and happy for the entire experience in Belgrade. I will miss everything! It's very hard for me to leave Belgrade. Partizan will always be my home, my favorite place, and my favorite moment is the goal I scored against Crvena zvezda," Saldanhasaid in an interview for the club's website.
Saldanha joined Partizan in July 2023 and during his time at the club, he scored 18 goals in the national league and three in European competitions.
He also had a message for the fans: "Keep supporting the club because the club needs you back in the stadium with full stands. And when you have time – come and watch me in Budapest," the Brazilian forward added.
