Matheus Cunha has earned widespread praise after finding a memorable way to thank a mechanic who refused to charge him for repairing his car during his summer break in Brazil.
The Manchester United forward, who recently became a teammate of Benjamin Šešek, found himself stranded after his car broke down while traveling through the municipality of Santa Rita.
Fortunately, a nearby auto repair shop was able to quickly fix the problem by replacing a damaged rear wheel, allowing Cunha to continue his journey.
When the Brazilian international tried to pay for the repair, he received an unexpected response.
The mechanic refused to accept any money, explaining that Cunha had already given him enough happiness through his performances on the football pitch.
Cunha later shared the touching moment in a video posted on social media.
"You don't want me to pay because you say I've already brought you a lot of joy. I offered everything to settle the bill, but he doesn't want to take the money."
