The drama between Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi has intensified after leaked messages revealed a heated exchange regarding their children’s birthday celebrations.
The controversy erupted just as Icardi and China Suárez traveled to Europe, seemingly to escape ongoing scandals in Argentina.
Journalist Ángel de Brito released screenshots of messages in which Nara invited Icardi to attend their daughter Francesca’s 10th birthday party, only for her requests to go unanswered. “Mau, the kids sent you voice messages. This Sunday, I'll host a birthday party for Fran at home, just family and a few of her friends. On Monday, we’ll celebrate in a park. I hope you can join us for at least one of them. It’s for Fran; she’s turning 10,” she wrote.
She emphasized the importance of co-parenting despite their strained relationship: “It’s crucial for Fran to see us together and know that despite everything, we prioritize her. You can come alone or bring a friend.” However, Icardi never responded and was absent from both celebrations.
After a phone call, Wanda sent another message, expressing her anger: "You left our daughter devastated on her birthday. She asked for a call to see you, but you were preoccupied with other kids. You respect strangers more than your own family. Where are your priorities and family values?"
The tensions escalated when Wanda accused Icardi of failing their children: "I won’t forgive you for ruining our children’s lives. You had the chance to greet your firstborn on her tenth birthday, and you hurt her. That speaks volumes about who you are and how poorly advised you've been."
In another message, Wanda invited Icardi to celebrate Valentino’s birthday, her eldest son from her relationship with Maxi López: "I have a River Plate cake that just arrived today. If you want, I can set it aside for you to celebrate with them." She also accused him of ignoring their daughters’ calls: "I messaged you earlier. Their calls aren’t getting through. The girls can’t reach you. Your phone isn’t receiving messages."
Reports on Intrusos (América TV) later revealed that China Suárez allegedly pressured Icardi into blocking Wanda. Journalist Guido Zaffora claimed: “China forced Mauro to block Wanda due to his frequent inquiries about her—who she’s with, where she’s going, and whether her reconciliation with L-Gante is real.”
Zaffora added that China discovered explicit voice messages from Wanda on Icardi’s phone, leading her to insist on cutting off communication. Meanwhile, speculation continues that Icardi and Suárez’s European getaway was an attempt to reconcile amid the ongoing turmoil.
