Maximilian Ibrahimović, son of Zlatan Ibrahimović, has been called up to Sweden's U19 team after signing his first professional contract with AC Milan.
Maximilian Ibrahimović, the 18-year-old son of Swedish football legend Zlatan Ibrahimović, has been called up for the first time to Sweden’s U19 national team. The young striker recently signed his first professional contract with AC Milan, where his father ended his career in June last year. Ibrahimović junior currently plays for Milan’s Primavera squad.
"He has had a great start with Primavera. It's a good opportunity to see him in our environment," said Andreas Petersson, the coach of Sweden’s U19 team. The team is set to play two upcoming matches in Spain against Japan and the USA.
In addition to his son's achievements, Zlatan Ibrahimović recently became an advisor to the owners of AC Milan.
