Antonela Roccuzzo has denied rumors that she is expecting a fourth child with Lionel Messi, stating that the media has been pushing the narrative for years, despite no truth to the speculation.
Antonela Roccuzzo has finally addressed the growing speculation surrounding her pregnancy status, shutting down rumors that she is expecting another child with Lionel Messi.
The 37-year-old Argentine, now a well-known figure in Miami’s social scene since Messi’s move to Inter Miami, has dismissed reports suggesting she is expecting a fourth child.
Despite maintaining a low profile on social media, Roccuzzo remains in the spotlight, often appearing alongside Victoria Beckham and Isabela Grutman. However, recent whispers about a potential pregnancy gained momentum after journalist Naiara Vecchio claimed that there was no tension between Messi and Roccuzzo, fueling further speculation.
“When it comes to Lionel and Antonela Roccuzzo, I talked to their close circle, and they told me they were doing great. In fact, they’re looking to have a baby girl,” Vecchio said, according to Hola Magazine.
That single comment sent social media into a frenzy, with fans dissecting Roccuzzo’s latest photos and pointing out her reduced activity online as potential hints of a pregnancy.
However, Argentine journalist Ángel de Brito put an end to the speculation after speaking directly with Roccuzzo. “I spoke to Antonela, and she told me that the rumor of her pregnancy is fake,” he wrote on X, sharing a family photo of the Messis. “She said that the media has been trying to get her pregnant for the past three years!”
Although the couple has denied the latest round of baby rumors, Messi himself previously admitted in 2023 that they had considered adding to their family.
Speaking to Migue Granados on the OLGA streaming program, Messi said, “We’d like to have a baby again. We’re not on the lookout, but let’s see if a baby girl arrives.”
For now, however, Roccuzzo has made it clear—she is not pregnant.
