Milan Glavčić, Novi Pazar football legend, passes away at 68

Milan Glavčić, a legendary figure of Novi Pazar football and one of the club's best scorers, has passed away at 68 after battling a short and severe illness.

The football club Novi Pazar shared the sad news.

"One of the best scorers in the history of Novi Pazar football, Milan Glavčić, passed away today at the age of 68 after a short and severe illness," the statement said.

Glavčić began his playing career at Rudar from his native Baljevac, then played for Novi Pazar and Arsenal from Kragujevac.

As a coach, he worked with the youth teams of Novi Pazar and was the head of the coaching staff at Ras and Rudar from Baljevac. In addition, Glavčić had a stint in the sports sector of Omladinac from Novo Selo.

The funeral date for Milan Glavčić in Baljevac will be announced later.

"Football Club Novi Pazar hereby expresses its sincere condolences to the Glavčić family," the statement concluded.
