Makkah Salah, daughter of Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, is set to make her television debut as a guest star in the popular Egyptian series "Kamel El Adad" during Ramadan.

The show’s director, Khaled El Halafawy, confirmed the news, stating that the third season will introduce new stars, including Salah’s daughter. “Part three of the series will feature new stars and a special participation by Makkah Mohamed Salah,” El Halafawy told Egyptian channel ON TV.

The series, returning for its third season, stars Dina El-Sherbini as Layla, a woman working in the cosmetics industry, and Sherif Salama as her husband, Ahmed Mokhtar, a cosmetic surgeon. The show follows the challenges of their large family with eight children.

Makkah Salah, born in London in 2014, is a fan of the show along with her family, but details of her guest appearance remain undisclosed. El Halafawy admitted he initially had concerns about her acting and language skills but was impressed.

“I was worried about her acting ability and whether she could speak proper Arabic, but the girl surprised me. She’s very smart and speaks good Arabic,” he said. “I was dreaming of Salah’s participation, but it’s good to have Makkah with us.”

Salah and his wife Magi also have a younger daughter, Kayan, born in 2020.

Meanwhile, Salah, 32, is in outstanding form for Liverpool, who are closing in on the Premier League title. The club is also in the League Cup final and remains a strong contender for the Champions League after topping the expanded group stage.

The Egyptian forward netted his 25th league goal of the season as Liverpool defeated Manchester City 2-0 on Sunday, extending their lead at the top of the table to 11 points.
