Nediljko Labrović is set to join Augsburg from Rijeka for €3 million, marking the first transfer of a Croatian national team member this window.

Nediljko Labrović will soon become a new player for Augsburg, according to Sportske novosti. The deal between Rijeka and the Bundesliga club is finalized, awaiting only the official announcement.

The German club will pay Rijeka a transfer fee of €3 million, and Labrović will join fellow Croatians Kristijan Jakić and Dion Drena Beljo in the Bavarian team. Labrović, currently preparing with the Croatian national team for the European Championship in Germany, becomes the first Croatian international to change clubs in the upcoming transfer window.

He made his debut for Croatia in March against Egypt and has played for Rijeka over the past three seasons, amassing 109 appearances and 40 clean sheets. At Rijeka, the time has come for Martin Zlomislić, who last season played only in the Cup.
