Neymar and his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi announced that they are expecting their second child, sharing the joyous news during a festive gender reveal celebration with family and friends.
Just over a year after their split, the couple seems to have rekindled their relationship, solidifying their bond as they prepare for their growing family.
Bruna, 30, revealed the pregnancy in a heartfelt Instagram video to her 12.3 million followers. The clip showed their daughter Mavie, born in October 2023, kissing her mother’s stomach alongside Neymar and his teenage son, Davi Lucca. The family later revealed the baby’s gender with pink smoke and confetti during a Boy or Girl countdown.
In her emotional post, Bruna wrote: “We are living such a sweet phase, and could not help but share with you that HE has once again heard our requests and confirmed our plans. Welcome, daughter, may you arrive in good health. We are waiting for you to complete our family even more. May God protect us from all evil.”
This announcement caps off a turbulent period for the couple, whose relationship faced significant challenges over the past year and a half. The pair split in late 2023 after allegations of Neymar’s infidelity, including reports of interactions with an OnlyFans model and videos of him partying with other women. Bruna publicly addressed the breakup at the time, stating that their connection was solely based on co-parenting Mavie.
In June 2024, Neymar issued a public apology to Bruna, acknowledging his mistakes and expressing his commitment to their relationship. “I did wrong. I risk saying I’m wrong every day, on and off the pitch. But I want to resolve my mistakes within my own home, with my family and friends,” he wrote on social media.
Since reuniting, the couple has worked to rebuild their relationship, reportedly with the help of therapy and support from friends. Bruna moved to Saudi Arabia with Mavie in July to join Neymar, who currently plays for Al-Hilal. Neymar has also publicly shown an engagement ring and declared that he has retired from his partying lifestyle.
