Neymar was spotted in New York wearing a £4,300 Louis Vuitton coat and purple ski mask while on holiday with Bruna Biancardi ahead of his planned knee surgery.
Neymar made a bold fashion statement during his Christmas getaway in New York City, stepping out in a striking pink and white Louis Vuitton coat worth around £4,300 — paired with a purple ski mask — as he enjoyed a festive evening in Times Square with girlfriend Bruna Biancardi.
The 33-year-old forward, currently on holiday before undergoing knee surgery, attempted to go incognito in the busy crowd, but his eye-catching designer outfit drew plenty of attention. The couple were photographed riding a rickshaw through Times Square, soaking in the Christmas atmosphere and sharing festive moments together.
The Santos star, who rejoined his boyhood club earlier this year, is set to undergo surgery before Christmas in Brazil under the supervision of renowned physiotherapist Eduardo Santos — known as football’s “miracle doctor.” The procedure is designed to fast-track his recovery and keep his hopes alive for World Cup 2026 selection under Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Neymar has battled injuries for much of the past two seasons, missing nearly 90 games since joining Al-Hilal in 2023. Despite ongoing setbacks, he was instrumental in helping Santos avoid relegation, scoring a hat-trick in a crucial win over Juventude on the penultimate day of the season.
“I came for this — to help in the best way I can,” Neymar said after that match. “These have been tough weeks for me. Without the people who supported me, I wouldn’t have played through this knee problem.”
The surgery, expected to be a meniscus correction, will give the forward roughly six months to recover and regain form ahead of Ancelotti’s squad selection in May. The Brazil coach recently clarified that no player is guaranteed a place: “If Neymar deserves it and is fit, he will go to the World Cup. I don’t owe anyone a debt.”
Neymar, Brazil’s all-time leading goalscorer with 79 goals in 128 appearances, has not featured for the national team since 2023 but remains hopeful of a return. For now, his focus is on recovery — and a little festive fun in New York before the operation.
