Neymar is embroiled in another controversy after reports surfaced about a secret party involving escorts, which allegedly led to a desperate attempt by his father to buy and suppress incriminating video footage.
Neymar is once again making headlines in Brazil, but not for footballing reasons. While recovering from an alleged injury that kept him out of Santos’ match against Corinthians and forced him to cancel his Brazil national team call-up, reports have emerged of a secret party involving escorts and a supposed cover-up attempt by his father.
The Brazilian media initially speculated that Neymar’s injury was conveniently timed, as he has often missed matches around his sister’s birthday—a long-running conspiracy linked to his time at Barcelona, PSG, and Al Hilal. However, when he withdrew from Brazil’s squad for crucial World Cup qualifiers against Argentina and Colombia, suspicions eased as it became clear his injury was legitimate.
Yet Neymar is still the talk of Brazil for an entirely different reason. Reports suggest that last week, a friend organized a private party at Neymar’s house, which later expanded with more guests—mostly women.
The controversy erupted when an escort who claimed to have attended the party offered a video of Neymar’s involvement to journalists. One journalist was reportedly willing to pay $9,000 for the footage, but in a desperate move, Neymar’s father allegedly intervened and bought the video himself for $10,000, attempting to suppress the story.
The scandal escalated further on Brazilian TV show Fofocalizando, where model Anny Awuada revealed that Neymar was present at the party with two escort women. She also claimed that the footage proves he was unfaithful to his partner, who was in another state at the time.
During the live broadcast, Neymar’s father called in to deny all allegations, insisting his son was not at any party and that he had not purchased any video.
Despite the denial, Brazilian media report that the situation has caused another rift in Neymar’s family. His relationship, which had already been strained due to past infidelities, is now in crisis once again.
Neymar had been focusing on rebuilding his personal and professional life, admitting to past mistakes and returning to form on the pitch. However, this latest scandal has once again put his personal life under scrutiny.
