Napoli abandon Garnacho pursuit and land Dutch international Noa Lang from PSV for €28 million. The winger signs a five-year deal with the Serie A champions.
Napoli are closing in on the signing of Noa Lang, having decided against paying Manchester United’s high demands for Alejandro Garnacho.
After losing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Napoli prioritised a new left winger, with Garnacho their first choice for months. However, United’s transfer fee demands proved too steep, forcing the Serie A champions to turn to a more affordable target.
They have now reached an agreement with PSV Eindhoven to sign Noa Lang for €28 million, according to Italian media reports. The 26-year-old Dutch international will sign a five-year contract and join the squad at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
Lang has been a key figure for PSV in recent seasons and impressed again this year with 14 goals and 12 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.
Napoli are not stopping there — they also plan to strengthen their attack further and are targeting Federico Chiesa, formerly of Juventus, as well as Jadon Sancho, one of Manchester United’s most expensive signings ever.
