Juventus have identified Nottingham Forest defender Nikola Milenković as a priority target, but the Premier League club have no intention of selling cheaply.

Juventus are once again looking at Nikola Milenković as they search for defensive reinforcements ahead of the new season.
According to reports from Italy, the Nottingham Forest center back has emerged as one of the club's leading targets, although completing the deal is expected to be anything but straightforward.
A familiar face in Serie A
Milenković spent seven successful seasons with Fiorentina, establishing himself as one of Serie A's most reliable defenders before joining Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2024.
The Premier League club paid around €14.3 million for the Serbian international, who signed a five-year contract and reportedly earns more than €6.3 million per season.
His consistent performances in England have only strengthened his reputation.
Nottingham unwilling to sell
Italian outlet Calciomercato reports that Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti is eager to add an experienced central defender to his squad, with Milenković ranking highly on the shortlist.
However, Nottingham Forest have little interest in losing one of their defensive leaders.
The English club are reportedly expected to demand between €25 million and €30 million, a figure that could prove difficult for Juventus to meet as the club continues to keep a close eye on its finances.
An old Juventus target
This is far from the first time Milenković has been linked with a move to Turin.
Back in 2021 and 2022, Juventus were heavily interested in signing the Serbian, with then-coach Massimiliano Allegri viewing him as a potential successor to Giorgio Chiellini and a replacement for Merih Demiral.
At the time, Fiorentina were asking for between €15 million and €20 million, but Juventus instead signed Gleison Bremer, while Milenković remained in Florence.
Still attracting Italy's biggest clubs
Interest in the 28-year-old never completely disappeared.
During the previous winter transfer window, Inter, AC Milan and Juventus were all linked with the Serbia international, who has continued to establish himself as one of the Premier League's most dependable central defenders.
Unless Juventus are prepared to meet Nottingham Forest's valuation, however, another reunion with Serie A could remain out of reach.
