Serbian international Miloš Veljković has officially signed a three-year contract with Red Star Belgrade, arriving as a free agent this summer.
Red Star Belgrade has confirmed the signing of Miloš Veljković, marking a major reinforcement for the club ahead of their Champions League campaign next season.
The Serbian defender, who spent the last nine seasons at Werder Bremen, will join Red Star as a free agent this summer, fulfilling his long-held dream of playing for his boyhood club.
Veljković brings experience to Red Star’s UCL ambitions
The 28-year-old center-back has been a key figure for the Serbian national team, earning 35 caps and featuring at two World Cups and one European Championship.
In an official statement, Red Star hailed Veljković as a key signing:
"FK Crvena zvezda informs the public that center-back Miloš Veljković has signed a contract with our club. The solid defender will be available to head coach Vladan Milojević from the summer and will wear the red-and-white jersey for the next three years."
