Manchester City and Omar Marmoush agree on personal terms. Eintracht Frankfurt demands €80M for their star forward as transfer negotiations heat up.

Reports from Germany suggest that Omar Marmoush has reached an agreement on personal terms with Manchester City, paving the way for a potential January transfer. While it’s no surprise that City’s financial muscle made the negotiations with the player straightforward, the focus now shifts to convincing Eintracht Frankfurt to part with their star forward.

Eintracht Frankfurt has reportedly set an €80 million price tag for Marmoush, who has been in the form of his life this season. The 24-year-old Egyptian forward has contributed a staggering 18 goals and 12 assists in 24 appearances, making him one of the Bundesliga’s standout performers. Losing him midseason would be a significant blow to Eintracht, currently sitting in a strong third place in the Bundesliga table.

Manchester City, known for its ability to secure key targets, is expected to push hard to complete the deal. Pep Guardiola’s side, facing challenges in the forward department, views Marmoush as a perfect addition to maintain their dominance in both the Premier League and Champions League campaigns.

Marmoush has also been linked to Liverpool and Arsenal, but City appears to be leading the race. Eintracht’s coach, Dino Toppmöller, downplayed the rumors in a press conference, stating that Marmoush is fully focused on their upcoming match against St. Pauli.

However, the growing interest and City’s financial prowess suggest that Marmoush’s time in Frankfurt could be nearing its end.
