Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly won the race to sign highly rated winger Yan Diomande after the teenager chose the French champions over Liverpool.

Paris Saint-Germain have taken a major step toward signing one of world football's brightest young talents after Yan Diomande reportedly chose the French champions over Liverpool.
According to Sky Sports, the 19-year-old Ivory Coast international has informed RB Leipzig that his preferred destination is Paris. Diomande has reportedly already agreed personal terms with PSG on a contract running until 2031, leaving the two clubs to negotiate the transfer fee.
Liverpool had been strongly linked with the explosive winger for months and was reportedly prepared to offer around €100 million. However, Leipzig are understood to value the player significantly higher, prompting the Premier League champions to step back from negotiations.
Diomande has emerged as one of Europe's fastest-rising stars thanks to his pace, dribbling ability and confidence in one-on-one situations. His style has led many observers to compare him with some of the game's elite wide forwards, with some even describing him as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah.
PSG, meanwhile, are preparing for another busy summer as they reshape their attacking options.
Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos is reportedly close to joining Milan in a deal worth around €70 million, while South Korean international Kang-in Lee continues to attract strong interest from Atlético Madrid.
The future of Bradley Barcola also remains uncertain. The French winger has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs and is reportedly considering a move where he would have a less demanding role than the one he currently occupies in Paris.
If PSG complete the signing of Diomande, they will add another elite young talent to a squad that continues to focus on building around some of Europe's most promising players.
