Paris Saint-Germain have reached out to Aston Villa over Colombian forward Jhon Durán as they explore options to strengthen their attack in the January transfer window.
Jhon Durán, the 21-year-old Colombian international, has caught the attention of Paris Saint-Germain following a strong first half of the season with Aston Villa. According to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, PSG have initiated contact regarding a potential move.
Durán has enjoyed a breakout campaign with Villa, scoring 12 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions. His most notable moment came in the Champions League when he scored a dramatic injury-time winner against Bayern Munich on October 2, further solidifying his reputation as a rising star.
PSG are seeking reinforcements to bolster their frontline, especially with the anticipated departure of Randal Kolo Muani this winter. Durán is viewed as an alternative target to Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, another player high on PSG’s wishlist.
The Ligue 1 giants have also reportedly advanced talks with Napoli over Kvaratskhelia, with a €70–90 million valuation placed on the Georgian international. While Durán would likely come at a significantly lower cost, his profile offers a mix of youth, potential, and immediate impact.
