Paris Saint Germain drew 2-2 against Sturm in their first match after Kylian Mbappe's departure, with Slovenian internationals Tomi Horvat and Jon Gorenc Stanković featuring for the Austrian champions.

Paris Saint Germain played their first preparatory match ahead of the new season, with the football world eagerly watching how the Parisians would respond after the departure of their untouchable star, Kylian Mbappe.

PSG faced Austrian champions Sturm at the 28 Arena in Klagenfurt, where Slovenian internationals Tomi Horvat and Jon Gorenc Stanković started the match for Sturm. Both Slovenian players only played the first half, during which all four goals were scored.

PSG took the lead with goals from 16-year-old Ibrahima Mbaye and Carlos Soler. Sturm fought back with goals from Amady Camara and Georgian Otar Kiteishvili.

Luis Enrique chose to leave many of the team's big stars out of the starting lineup. However, several notable players, including Milan Škriniar, Marco Asensio, Carlos Soler, Goncalo Ramos, and Kolo Muani, began the match.

An impressive performance was delivered by the 16-year-old academy prospect Ibrahima Mbaye, whose highlights can be seen in the attached link.
