PSV Eindhoven has dominated the current Eredivisie season, remaining unbeaten for a long time and ultimately winning the championship in grand style.

In the Netherlands, it was clear early in the season where the championship title would go. PSV had very high ambitions last season but failed to achieve the desired results on the field despite significant reinforcements. This year, however, the story was different, with PSV dominating from the very first round.

In 34 rounds of the Dutch championship, PSV recorded 29 wins, four draws, and only one loss, scoring a remarkable 111 goals.

PSV finished the season with 91 points, a record tally in the history of the Eredivisie. The architect of this successful season was coach Peter Bosz, who took over PSV last summer after previously coaching French Ligue 1 club Lyon.

This season also saw the brilliance of 23-year-old forward Santiago Gimenez, who contributed 23 goals and six assists in 30 league appearances.
