Manchester City have completed the signing of 22-year-old Brazilian forward Allan Elias from Palmeiras, handing their new arrival a contract until 2031.

Manchester City have officially announced another addition to their squad, completing the transfer of highly rated Brazilian attacker Allan Elias from Palmeiras.
The 22-year-old arrives at the Etihad Stadium for a fee of almost €40m and has signed a long-term contract running until the summer of 2031.
Allan made 96 senior appearances in Brazil before moving to England, recording nine goals and 12 assists. City believe there is considerably more to come from the young forward as he takes the next step of his career in the Premier League.
Palmeiras continue incredible transfer business
The deal represents another major sale for Palmeiras, who have developed a reputation as one of South America's leading producers of young talent. Since 2022, the Brazilian giants have generated an extraordinary €414m from transfers of players to European clubs.
For Allan, joining Manchester City represents the biggest moment of his career so far.
"It's a very special moment for me. Manchester City have become one of the most attractive clubs in the world with everything they've achieved in the last 15 years. To be able to sit here today and say I've joined them is the proudest moment of my life," he said.
Allan will now begin working with his new teammates as City prepare for their next Premier League match against Coventry City. They will then travel to face Porto in the Champions League.
