Spanish media outlet EN Blau VIP reports that the couple—who have been together for over 30 years—are giving their relationship a “second chance.” The split, first revealed in January, came as a shock to many close to the family. However, neither Guardiola nor Serra has removed their wedding rings, signaling ongoing emotional ties.
At the heart of the issue, according to the report, was Guardiola’s decision to extend his stay in England without consulting Serra, who had believed he might take a sabbatical or accept an international role to allow more family time.
