Quilindschy Hartman is a 22-year-old Dutch left-back considered one of the best players in the Eredivisie.

As a member of Feyenoord, he won the league title last season and celebrated a cup victory this season. It's expected that Hartman will soon transfer to one of Europe's top leagues.

Hartman revealed that he had the opportunity to move in January when Chelsea expressed interest, but he chose to stay.

Primarily, he stayed because he regularly plays in the starting eleven at Feyenoord, and with the European Championship coming up this summer, the young defender didn't want to risk ending up on the bench in England and missing out on a spot in the national team.

"Chelsea wanted to take me to England in January, but with the European Championship coming up, I decided not to transfer," he said.

This summer, Feyenoord's coach Arne Slot will leave for Liverpool. After the Euros, the young Hartman might follow him to England.
