Crvena zvezda has confirmed the signing of Rade Krunić, who joins the club from Fenerbahçe, bringing experience and quality to the midfield.
Rade Krunić is the latest addition to Crvena zvezda, as announced by the club. The Bosnian international midfielder joins the Serbian champions from Fenerbahçe and will wear the number six shirt in Belgrade.
Krunić, born on October 7, 1993, in Foča, began his senior career with Sutjeska before catching the attention of the football world with his performances for Donji Srem and Borac Čačak. His talent earned him a move to Empoli, where he scored 13 goals in 119 appearances. He then moved to AC Milan, where he played 139 matches and scored three goals. Last season, he featured in 22 matches for Fenerbahçe.
The club's statement praised Krunić as a "true Zvezda fan and a player who has been the 'engine' of every team he's played for, known for his speed and aggression in midfield." With nearly 300 appearances in Serie A and as a regular for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, Krunić is expected to be a significant reinforcement for Crvena zvezda.
