Raul Gonzalez is a 17-year-old footballer playing for CD Cebrereño in the lower Spanish leagues, and he’s recently found himself in the spotlight. Of course, his name is the same as the legendary Raul, who shined at Real Madrid for years, but that’s not the only reason football fans are paying attention to this teenager. The fact is, he bears a striking resemblance to Lamine Yamal.
Like Yamal, Gonzalez is 17 years old, shines in his role, and this summer, Yamal also made waves at the European Championship, where he helped Spain lift the trophy.
Gonzalez resembles Yamal in his build, running style, and even hairstyle. *“People often mistake me for him, but it doesn’t bother me, I find it funny,”* said Raul Gonzalez, who has received numerous interview requests from Spanish media in recent days.
The real Lamine Yamal is currently with the national team and will face Serbia tonight in a match for Spain.
