Real Madrid TV accused La Liga, referees, and VAR of bias after the controversial El Clásico defeat against Barcelona.
Real Madrid TV reacted furiously after Barcelona defeated Real Madrid in El Clasico and officially secured the La Liga title.
The club’s official television channel launched a fierce attack against referees, VAR, the Spanish league and even La Liga president Javier Tebas.
The emotional outburst came during and after the broadcast from the Camp Nou.
The main controversy centered around an incident involving Eric Garcia and Jude Bellingham.
Real Madrid players and commentators believed the challenge on the English midfielder deserved much closer examination and demanded additional replay angles.
According to Real Madrid TV, crucial footage was either missing or not shown clearly enough during the live broadcast.
The reaction quickly escalated into a direct attack on the entire Spanish football system.
"The Spanish league is not serious. It’s Tebas’ league, Negreira’s league. It’s a circus and a farce. It’s horrible," the commentators said during the broadcast.
The club channel also claimed controversial situations involving Real Madrid are regularly handled differently compared to incidents affecting other clubs.
"When it comes to controversial situations against Real Madrid, the footage suddenly runs out. This time the broadcast was interrupted at a crucial moment," they added.
Real Madrid TV argued the incident involving Garcia and Bellingham could potentially have resulted in a penalty kick or even a red card.
"It could have even been a kick to the neck, but we didn’t see it. But we clearly saw Eric Garcia’s elbow. It’s a penalty kick and a red card," the commentators insisted.
Referee Hernandez Hernandez and the VAR officials also received heavy criticism.
" With Hernandez Hernandez on the pitch, what can you expect? VAR has once again failed to correct a clear injustice," Real Madrid TV claimed.
The strongest accusations arrived near the end of the broadcast.
The club channel directly referenced La Liga president Javier Tebas and suggested broader control over television coverage.
"Tebas was sitting in the VIP box and we know very well who decides which images will be shown and which will not," the broadcast concluded.
The explosive statements immediately triggered huge reactions across Spain.
Barcelona supporters mocked the complaints online, while many Madrid fans backed the club’s criticism of refereeing and VAR decisions throughout the season.
The heated response reflects the growing tension surrounding Real Madrid after a disappointing campaign filled with controversy, dressing room conflicts, and growing pressure on the club hierarchy.
