Real Madrid rule out loan or sale for Endrick after Lyon spell, with the Brazilian set to return as a key first-team option in two attacking roles.
Real Madrid has made a clear decision on Endrick. The Brazilian will return to the Santiago Bernabéu this summer and stay as part of the first team.
There will be no new loan and no transfer. The club has already informed the player, who is satisfied with the plan confident about his future in Madrid.
Loan at Lyon changed everything
Endrick spent the second part of the season at Lyon, where he delivered strong numbers with seven goals and six assists in 17 matches.
The move came after limited opportunities earlier in the season, when coach Xabi Alonso preferred Gonzalo García. Both the club and the player agreed that a loan was the right step.
Under coach Paulo Fonseca, Endrick has shown he is ready for top-level European football.
Two roles in Madrid attack
According to AS, Real Madrid now sees Endrick as part of the main attacking rotation.
He has proven he can play on the right wing, which opens the option of forming a front three with Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior.
Competition will be strong, with Rodrygo, Brahim Díaz, and Franco Mastantuono also in the squad.
At the same time, Endrick will serve as the main backup striker behind Mbappé, giving him a second role as a central forward.
Madrid protect major investment
Real Madrid invested heavily in Endrick after signing him from Palmeiras in 2022, in a deal worth up to $70 million, with total costs rising close to $90 million including salary and bonuses.
The club now wants to maximize that investment by giving him consistent minutes in multiple positions.
World Cup opportunity ahead
Endrick is expected to be part of the Brazil squad at the upcoming World Cup, where he could gain further experience before returning to Madrid.
After proving his value in France, he now enters a new phase, with a defined role and growing importance in one of the world’s biggest clubs.
