Dani Ceballos is set to leave Real Madrid after a fallout with coach Alvaro Arbeloa, while the manager’s future is also under serious doubt.

Real Madrid are heading toward a chaotic end to the season, and a new internal conflict has only made things worse. Midfielder Dani Ceballos is now on his way out after a breakdown in his relationship with coach Alvaro Arbeloa.
Although Ceballos still has a contract until next summer, he last played in February. Spanish sources report that he is no longer part of Arbeloa’s plans for the final stretch of the season.
The relationship has completely collapsed.
Tensions had been building for some time, but the situation exploded after the latest La Liga round, when Ceballos was left out against Real Betis, his former club.
The midfielder reacted strongly. He was unhappy, exchanged heated words with the coach, and since then, the two have stopped communicating entirely.
There is no way back.
Ceballos has often been linked with a return to Betis, and this situation only strengthens that possibility.
But he may not be the only one leaving.
Alvaro Arbeloa is also under pressure. Real Madrid are expected to finish the season without trophies, which is unacceptable by the club’s standards.
There have been some positives, including a strong result against Manchester City in the Champions League, but too many mistakes in La Liga have defined the campaign.
Arbeloa has promoted several young talents from the academy, but results have not followed.
Big names are already being linked with the job.
Jose Mourinho, Didier Deschamps, Jürgen Klopp, and Mauricio Pochettino are all mentioned as potential successors.
Ceballos, however, was already a candidate to leave even before Arbeloa arrived.
A decisive run of matches is coming.
Real Madrid will face Espanyol away this Sunday, followed by a trip to Barcelona for El Clasico. After that, they will play Real Oviedo, Athletic Bilbao, and Sevilla to close the season.
Arbeloa’s numbers show a mixed record.
He has led the team in 23 matches, recording 14 wins, two draws, and seven defeats.
At Real Madrid, that is rarely enough.
