Real Madrid talent Endrick shines at Lyon and says his future depends on faith and his wife’s decision amid transfer uncertainty.
Endrick has sparked attention with a unique take on his future, stating that his next move will depend on faith and guidance received by his wife Gabriely Miranda.
The 19-year-old forward, owned by Real Madrid, is enjoying a strong spell on loan at Lyon, where he continues to deliver key performances.
He scored the decisive goal in a 4-2 win over Rennes, helping Lyon move into the Champions League places in Ligue 1.
Since arriving in January, Endrick has recorded 15 goal contributions, with eight goals and seven assists in just 18 matches.
His impact stands in contrast to his limited role at Real Madrid, where he made only nine starts across 18 months following his £51 million move in 2024.
Speaking to Globo, Endrick made clear how he views the decision on his next step.
"If I’m meant to stay here, return to Real Madrid or go somewhere else, I’ll do what God tells me. What God tells my wife," he said.
"I’m very happy here. Coming to Lyon was one of my best choices. If I go to the World Cup, it will be thanks to everyone here."
His relationship with Miranda has drawn attention, especially after reports of a structured “relationship contract” with strict rules.
These reportedly include limits on behavior, social media interaction, and even restrictions in video games, along with a requirement to express affection regularly.
The couple married in September 2024, less than a year after meeting, and recently announced they are expecting their first child.
For now, Endrick remains focused on his form at Lyon, while his long-term future between France, Spain, or elsewhere stays open.
