Real Madrid has renovated the famous Santiago Bernabeu stadium, with costs nearing two billion euros, but they have a plan to recoup the money quickly.
Real Madrid spent nearly two billion euros on renovating the Santiago Bernabeu stadium and will need to find ways to bring that money back into the club.
The "Royal Club" is creating 300 exclusive VIP seats at the stadium, with entry into the "club of the special" for the next 30 years costing future members an incredible 250,000 euros.
Additionally, they will have to pay an annual membership fee. Real Madrid claims these VIP boxes are better than the players' and offer an incredible view of the pitch. Their goal is to attract millionaires for whom this price is a mere trifle.
A VIP fan who pays 250,000 euros will receive a special parking space and will have access not only to Real Madrid matches but also to other events at the Bernabeu, including concerts and NFL games.
This exclusive VIP area is expected to open next year. After the renovation, the Bernabeu can accommodate 85,000 spectators, features a retractable roof, a state-of-the-art pitch, a 360-degree giant screen, and even a nightclub that can host up to 200 guests.
